September 24, 2016 marks the grand opening of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. In support of the museum opening, the Smithsonian Intitution Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) has developed a content management system (CMS) and a series of APIs to facilitate the curation of customized content for the interactives within the museum. The CMS allows the museum to curate digital content for the interactives with existing digital collections and newly authored stories and/or content. The APIs serve as a medium of data transfer from OCIO's central collections repository to the museum for display on the interactive kiosks. Quotient has supported the Smithsonian Institution and OCIO in development and maintenance of the CMS and APIs. Additionally, Quotient continues to support OCIO and Forum One in the maintenance and feature development of the museum's Drupal-based website (https://nmaahc.si.edu).
